I find joy in teaching and interacting with students and also the moments where I gently suggest that we don't use emojis in our essays.
About
I'm passionate about creating lifelong readers and encouraging students to find their voices through writing. Also: poetry.
After teaching for three years in Kansas, I am now in New Orleans teaching at a charter school.
As I continue to figure out what I'm doing with my life, I'm transitioning into freelance writing and editing work now working in a school library outside of New Orleans and absolutely thrilled with the whole situation.

ReplyDeleteDear Ms VC,
ReplyDeleteI hear you are on your way to New Orleans. I am looking for your review of "A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. Let me know if you need a copy.
Clark Boyer
Mr. Boyer! How fun to see you here! I am indeed on my way to New Orleans and expect to have much more reading time then! I would love to read and review A Confederacy of Dunces; I see it won the Pulitzer and is set in my beloved city!
DeleteAll right, review is up! :)
